FAQ's
Q: DO WE HAVE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?
A: Walk ins are very welcome and you do not need to have a reservation in advance. However if you
are visiting with children, dogs, or have any special requirements, we would advise calling in advance,
just to make sure.
Q: DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?
A: Yes! We have step free access to the restaurant and the bar, as well as accessible toilets and
ample parking close to the entrance, including designated disabled bays. We will also be working
towards providing some accessible facilities in the children’s play area and garden in the future. If you have any specific questions about accessibility, or special requests, please don’t hesitate to call.
Q: DO YOU ALLOW DOGS?
A: Yes! We welcome all well-behaved dogs, on leads, in any of our outdoor areas, or in the bar. We
don’t currently allow dogs in the restaurant, except for service or assistance dogs. We serve our full
menu in the bar as well as the restaurant, so if you are bringing your dog with you, and you would like
to eat, we recommend calling, or booking ahead as seating is limited in the bar area.
Q: DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN?
A: Yes! Children are welcome in the restaurant and in the garden areas. We allow children to sit in the
bar area if they are eating but ask that children do not approach the bar and are with a responsible
adult (18+), at all times when in the bar. We have a children’s section on the menu.
Q: IS THERE ONSITE PARKING?
A: Yes! We have a large private carpark specifically for pub patrons.
Q: AM I ABLE TO BRING MY OWN CAKE/ BALLOONS/ DECORATIONS ETC FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS?
A: Absolutely! We can provide candles and sparklers etc and would be happy to store anything we
can to help you celebrate your special occasion.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A SPACE FOR PRIVATE HIRE?
A: Yes! Our restaurant is available for private hire. You can find more information about this on the

Q: DO YOU CATER FOR VEGETARIAN, VEGAN & GLUTEN-FREE?
A: Yes! We have options for everyone on our menu. If you are unsure, please ask a member of staff.
Q: ARE OTHER ALLERGENS IDENTIFIED ON THE MENU?
A: Other allergens are not currently identified on the menu so, if you have allergies, please check with
a member of staff prior to ordering so that we can advise you.
Q: ARE GLUTEN-FREE & OTHER MAIN FOOD ALLERGENS PREPARED & CONTAINED SEPARATELY?
A. Yes, all of the top 14 allergens, including gluten are prepared and contained separately. The Food
Standards Agency state the 14 major allergens are: Celery, Cereals (containing gluten - including:
rye, spelt, barley oats, baking powder), Crustaceans (crab, lobster, prawns, scampi), Eggs, Fish,
Lupin (found in some flours and seeds), Milk (butter, cream, cheese, milk powders, yoghurt), Molluscs
(mussels, land snails, squid, whelks, oyster sauces, fish stew), Mustard (liquid mustard, mustard
powder, mustard seeds), Nuts (tree grown nuts; cashews, almonds, hazelnuts etc) Peanuts (grown
underground, inc; groundnut oil, peanut powder), Sesame Seeds, Soya (found in edamame beans,
bean curd, miso, soya protein, tofu) and Sulphur Dioxide aka Sulphites (an ingredient often found in
dried fruits, or meat, soft drinks, vegetables, wine and beer).
